Bilingual Accountant Secretary/ Secrétaire Comptable bilingue

Job brief:

Basé à Douala, nous recherchons une secrétaire comptable bilingue juniore. Les horaires de travail sont flexibles et la candidate doit posséder son propre ordinateur portable pour travailler de la maison ou au bureau.

We are looking for a Junior Secretary Accountant to provide administrative support. Working hours are flexible and the person recruited must have her own laptop (personal computer) to work from home or in our office at Douala.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic office tasks, including answering telephone, responding to emails, processing mail, writing letters, etc.
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure all business transactions are recorded (accounts receivable, payable, issue invoices, perform reconciliations);
  • Produce payroll records, balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements;
  • Compute and file monthly taxes as well as national social insurance contributions to tax authorities and CNPS;
  • Liaise with third party for all accounting related matters;
  • Invoice clients timely and chase for payments.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Must have own personal computer;
  • Degree in accounting and minimum one year experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Knowledge of accounting software Sage Saari;
  • Bilingual in English and French;
  • Knowledge of SYSCOHADA;
  • Be 21-30 years old.

Desirable: Have a driving license

SALARY PER MONTH: 55 000 – 85 000 XAF
