DRT Bore Enlargement Senior Field Engineer and Junior Fiel Engineer
Weatherford Services & Rentals Ltd, a leading service provider in the Oil & Gas Industry, requires the services of a DRT Bore Enlargement Senior Field Engineer and Junior Fiel Engineer, based in Douala.
Key Responsibilites
- Supervise and monitor operations for performance drilling tools and/or service tools at a client location
- Verifies all necessary equipment and supplies are shipped to and arrive at well site in proper working condition
- Performs pre and post job analysis and reporting
- Review and validate job reports to ensure accuracy, utilizing OPMS(Operations Performance Management System) documents and WPTS(Weatherford Performance Tracking System)
- Generate/modify equipment drawings for urgent operational needs
- Validate JSA(Job Safety Analysis) for well site operation, etc.
Key requirements
- completed high school education with strong emphasis on science and/or mechanical related disciplines
- Engineering Degree, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering Preferred
- For the Senior field engineer, at least 5 years of experience offshore in similar role and responsibility
- Knowledge of differents types of rigs including drilling and work over rigs
- Have a good knowledge of drilling systems including rotary, rotary steerable, positive displacement motor(PDM) and turbines
- Good knowledge of RFID technology is a strong plus
- Need to be familiar with BHA design and components
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Safety awareness skills
- General key requirements for all positions:
- Good English and proficient in French
- Computer proficient in Microsoft packages, Excel and Powerpoint
Additional competency would be advantageous:
- Product line experience in the oil service industry
- Level 1 Drilling Tools competency
- Level 1 R&M Tech competency
