The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is offering a large number of no-bond postgraduate fellowships for international students. AIT Fellowships are available for postgraduate programs offered at AIT's School of Engineering and Technology; School of Environment, Resources and Development; and School of Management. Priority is given to Master degree applicants. Fellowships cover tuition, but do not cover registration fees, accommodation fees or living expenses. Applications should be submitted till 31st March 2016.

Eligibility:

  • Students of all nationalities are eligible.
  • Attain a satisfactory English Requirements.
  • Priority is given to Master degree applicants.
  • A four-year Bachelor degree from a recognized university is required.
  • Applicants to MBA programs require a minimum of one-year's relevant work experience.

Scholarship Description: The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand is offering applicants to its Master and Doctoral degree programs an opportunity to qualify for generous academic fellowships. A large number of no-bond AIT Fellowships are available for students applying for postgraduate programs offered atAIT's School of Engineering and Technology (SET); School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD); and School of Management (SOM). As Asia's leading international higher learning institute, the AITFellowships are intended to increase the number of skilled international scientists, engineers and managers required to meet the future challenges of the emerging Asian Economic Community region and beyond.

Number of award(s): A large number of no-bond AIT Fellowships are available for students applying for postgraduate programs offered.

Duration of award(s): The 100% Fellowships are awarded for the duration of entire study; 75% fellowships are awarded for up to 3 semesters and 50% fellowships are available for up to two semesters.

What does it cover? Fellowships cover tuition, but do not cover registration fees, accommodation fees or living expenses.
AIT Fellowships for Master Degree:

  • Full Study Cost Fellowships (672,000 Baht). This fellowship covers the entire study cost (tuition fees) of a Master program.
  • 75% Study Cost Fellowships (504,000 Baht). This fellowship covers 3 semesters, student pays remainder 188,000 baht as one semester cost).
  • 50% Study Cost Fellowships (336,000 Baht Award). Recipients pay study cost of two semesters.
    Fellowships for Doctoral applicants vary depending on their academic credentials. Normally, eligible applicants should have attained a Cumulative GPA of 3.5 in their Master program and 3.0 in their Undergraduate program.
    AIT Fellowships for Doctoral Degree: Applicants should have a Cumulative GPA of 3.50 in their Master's degree and 2.75 in their undergraduate program from top universities.
