Applications are invited for postgraduate taught scholarships within the School of Law at University of Warwick. Total 18 scholarships will be awarded to study all taught LLM programmes. Following types of scholarships will be available: General Scholarship (international students), Upendra Baxi Scholarship (South Asian countries), Latin American Scholarship (Latin America), African Scholarship (Africa), Women of Pakistan Scholarship (Pakistan) and Warwick Law School Graduate Scholarship (students who have graduated from their undergraduate degree at Warwick School of Law within the last three years). Applications should be submitted till 31st March 2015.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded to study all taught LLM programmes.

Eligibility: Applicants must already hold an offer from the School of Law and be able to meet the English language requirements by the end of March 2015. Only candidates with an outstanding academic performance in law or a related subject degree will be considered. University also values relevant work experience.

Scholarship Open for International Students: General scholarship is open for international students, Upendra Baxi Scholarship is available for South Asian countries, Latin American Scholarship will be available for the students who are resident in Latin American countries, African Scholarship is awarded for the students who are resident in African countries, Women of Pakistan Scholarship will be awarded for Female nationals who are resident in Pakistan and Warwick Law School Graduate Scholarship is open for the students who have graduated from their undergraduate degree at Warwick School of Law within the last three years.

What does it cover? The value of scholarships will be as follows:

  • General Scholarships: 5 awards of £5000; 3 awards of £3000
  • Upendra Baxi Scholarships: £5000
  • Latin American Scholarship: 50% of tuition fees (approximately £8,000)
  • African Scholarship: 50% of tuition fees (approximately £8,000)
  • Women of Pakistan Scholarship: 50% of tuition fees (approximately £8,000)
  • Warwick Law School Graduate Scholarships: £3000

Selection Criteria: The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic performance.

Notification: Successful applicants will be notified by the end of May 2015.
