Eligibility:
- Hold a first-class Bachelor’s degree and/or a distinction at Master’s level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Hold an offer of a place on a full-time doctoral research degree in the School of European Culture and Languages in Comparative Literature, French, German, Italian or Hispanic Studies for the academic year commencing September 2013.
- Have a high-quality research proposal.
Scholarship Open for International Students: The SECL GTA competition is open to UK, EU and overseas fee-paying students.
Scholarship Description: Candidates must make a formal application to study on a SECL doctoral programme, and have received an unconditional offer of a place to commence their studies in September 2013.Candidates must then send a supporting statement, not exceeding 1,000 words, outlining why they feel they are suitable to be considered for this scholarship.The supporting statement should be sent to the SECL Postgraduate Coordinator.
