University of Alberta offers undergraduate scholarships each year for international students. The scholarship is payable over four years. Scholarships are awarded annually to students on study permit who are entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. Funding for the second, third, and fourth years depends upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5. The online application may be available at beginning January 7, 2013.

Eligibility:

  • Students on study permit who are entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta from high school on the basis of top academic standing in grades 10, 11, and 12.
  • Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta each year.

Scholarship Description: To attract top students, the University of Alberta offers more than CAD$25 million in undergraduate scholarships each year.Students should make sure that he/she have applied for admission to a degree program at the University of Alberta and sent in all up to date transcripts and/or statement of grades to the admissions unit. Students should contact their referee in advance with information about the competition and ask them for their contact information, including valid email address, so that when you apply you have all the necessary information.

How to Apply: The mode of applying is online (Students must use the CCID and password to access the awards application which they have received when have applied for admission. References will have to be completed and submitted online through a secure site.
