2013 The Future of International Development Student Scholarships in Australia

Australian National University and University of Melbourne are offering Future of International Development Student scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students in Australia. Five scholarships are awarded per university to attend both days of the conference.  Applications should be sent electronically by April 14, 2013.

Study Subject(s): Subject line: “The Future of International Development Student Scholarship”. Recipients will have the opportunity to engage with some of the most influential people in the development arena at this invitation only event and to participate in the debate through social media.
Course Level: Scholarships are offered to students of both universities to attend both days of the conference.

Eligibility: To be eligible to receive a scholarship, students must currently be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at either the Australian National University or the University of Melbourne.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Australian students can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The Australian National University and The University of Melbourne are offering five undergraduate or graduate scholarships per university to attend both days of the conference. What does it cover?

  • Attendance at the televised panel discussion and conference sessions
  • Refreshments and lunch will be provided during the conference (10 May)event.

Notification: Notifications will be made by April 22, 2013.

How to Apply: Students must submit a resume and explain in a cover letter (not to exceed 300 words) how the conference relates to their course of study and future career goals. Interest in social media will be viewed favourably. All resumes must be current, and include the applicant’s course, home and school address, phone number and email address. Resumes and cover letters must be sent electronically to the email address below and include the subject line “The Future of International Development Student Scholarship.”
