Eligibility : Both Canadian and non-Canadian candidates enrolled in a PhD program at the time of the adjudication and who have an excellent academic record are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be selected based on academic record, professional and scholarly contributions, and demonstrated or potential ability in the area of study.

Scholarship Description : The Peter MacCormack Memorial Scholarship will be awarded by January 2013 to a student pursuing a PhD program in the UPEI Faculty of Science. This non- renewable scholarship valued at $4,000 can be held in conjunction with other sources of funding and will be awarded to a student with demonstrated academic excellence.
