About Employer: In July 2011, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) became the first university in Singapore to be rated 5-Star under a new QS Stars rating system. The Summer Research Internship (SRI) program is a university wide research program initiated to stimulate a culture of research for the overseas undergraduates.
Degree program: The program is for undergraduate level.
Subject(s): The subject area could be any field.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must possess good academic track records.
- Open to NEW students who have not been to Singapore previously and to all nationalities who are currently full-time students in an overseas university.
- Applicants must have completed a certain number of semesters in their overseas universities by the time they attend the SRI program.
Open for following countries: The program is open for international students.
Program Details: Participants will develop research interest attachment comprising project work at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), strong sense of cross-cultural intelligence, gain a network of friends and a better understanding of our nation and presentation of their research project at a closing ceremony. All participants will receive a certificate issued by NTU upon completion of the program.
Financial Aid: The SRI grant is tenable only for the duration of the program at NTU. Each grant shall cover tuition fees and one-off allowance amounting up to S$3,000.
Duration: The program runs for a 8 weeks period from 03 June 2013 to 26 July 2013.
