The mission of the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering is to prepare students to become exemplary engineering innovators who recognize needs, design solutions, and engage in creative enterprises for the good of the world. Our goal is to improve engineering education and redefine engineering as a profession of innovation. Our programs emphasize inquiry-based learning and team-based projects in a community of engaged, self-directed learners.
We currently seek applicants for a full time faculty position in the interdisciplinary space surrounding computing, including but not limited to Computer Science and related fields. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a track record of and potential for impact through scholarship, practice, or other forms of intellectual vitality within their chosen field(s). We are especially interested in applicants who would engage in the development of innovative programs, who would bring their experiences and expertise into the classroom in creative ways, and who would be comfortable teaching both core computing topics and across disciplinary boundaries.
The college is located in Needham, MA, with convenient access to Boston and its vibrant academic and startup culture.
