PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Officer, performs a variety of clerical duties related to Human Resources matters of the field and sub offices.
REPORTS TO : Human Resources Officer
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES and DUTIES & TASKS
Participates in the recruitment process by collecting and registering applications of professional and general service staff according to UN/UNICEF rules, regulations, procedures and policies.
Assists staff members by processing request for briefing to UNFSO, UN identity card, renewal of UNLP and other necessary personnel-related documents in accordance with the requirements of the United Nations and the country of the duty stations locations.
Search office files and records relating to human resources for information and references. Selects information and reports in specified format or on the basis of general instructions for use in preparing reports, correspondence related to Human resource management.
Monitor attendance records and ensure follow-up and update of monitoring tool for IP / local staff contract renewal, Within-Grade Increment, Performance Appraisal System etc
Ensure proper filing and retrieval system for Administrative Instructions, Information Circulars, Staff rules, personnel records and other documents related to Human ressources.
Performs other duties, as required.
QUALIFICATION and COMPETENCIES
Education
Completion of secondary education preferably supplemented by technical or University courses in Humane Resources equivalent to BTS or Bachelor.
Work experience
Minimum 4 years' experience in the field of personnel management or similar work in a recognised institution.
Experience in an international organization desirable.

Languages: Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English are required.
