POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) seeks eligible and qualified applicants for the position of PPS Supervisor at IITA Cameroon, Yaoundé. This is a nationally recruited position, exclusively for Cameroon citizens.
Under the supervision of the Station Administrator of IITA Cameroon, the incumbent shall be responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring the maintenance of IITA Cameroon vehicles, general equipment and facilities including buildings, green houses, roads and grounds; planning organizing and monitoring the use of IITA vehicles and drivers assignments; keeping a log book of the maintenance works of buildings, vehicles and general equipment; supervision of the maintenance contracts signed between IITA-Cameroon and any contracted maintenance company; supervision of the maintenance works executed for IITA by contracted maintenance companies or any other outsourced person; monitoring and supervision of security matters in connection with the agreed security company.
Applicants to this position shall hold a HND in general maintenance; have at least three years proven working experience in general maintenance; be computer literate; be bilingual (English and French); and have a valid driving license.
