ORDER MANAGER

Reports To : Operations Manager
Direct Reports : Servers

Function : Manager
N° of Positions : 6
N° Of Shifts : 2
Working Hours : 10H-17H, 17H-00H

2. Minimum Requirements

  • Must demonstrate basic arithmetic skills
  • Must be bilingual and fluent in both English and French. Read/Write/Speak.
  • Must be comfortable working with high-tech gadgets: iPads, Tablets, Laptops
  • Must be comfortbale working with numbers
  • Must demonstrate care in handling and keeping cash
  • Must be on your feet for long period of time
  • Must be professional and friendly at all times
  • Must be able to work under stress and extreme pressure
  • Must be self-organized and demonstrate acute time management
  • Must be a team player
  • Should be able to lift heavy tray filled with glassware and food
  • Must be comfortable engaging strangers and entertaining a discussion
  • MUST be able to avoid customer advances and remain professional at all times!

3. Academic and professional requirements

  • Educational qualification : Undergraduate preferred (DUT, HND, BTS, BSc)
  • Professional experience : 2 years of customer service experience

4. Responsibilities

  • Check in on time for your shift
  • Gather specific shift information from management
  • Set up your waitressing section
  • Ensure basic tools available before starting shift (Paper, Pen, Calculator, etc)
  • Greets guest and make them feel comfortable
  • Take care of all guests at all times
  • Master menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guest
  • Take and manage orders (Food, breverages, and other services)
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Check in with guest to ensure that everything is going well
  • Upsell food, breverages and/or other services to guests as much as possible
  • Be proactive and deliver guest bills and thank them for dining
  • Receive payments (cash, VISA, Coupons, MobileMoney)
  • Close orders in the billing system
  • Work with servers to ensure proper hygiene at all tables at all times
  • Work with Management to control sales versus cash available
  • Escalate issues to Management in a timely manner
  • Performe any other duty as may be advised by management
  • Clock out of your shift

Note:

Making guest feel confortable and welcomed is non-negotiable!
It is your responsibility to make each guest want to return every time.
You will be accountable for 100% customer satisfaction.
