The Family of the Bamenda University of Science & Technology - BUST has reserved a hilarious welcome back home to Chief Senator Anja Simon of Manyu. Until his appointment, Senator Anja was a lecturer of this University.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor - Prof. Joseph B. Suh expressed the happiness of the entire University Community to see that one of theirs was a Senator in the pioneer Senate House of Cameroon. Several people spoke, including Mr. Asong - the Financial Controller of BUST who was so excited as he said "we are happy to see you again and God Bless you. The Senate House is the highest political House in any Country and every other person would like to aspire for the Senate". Mme Mfah presented a symbolic gift from the University - a gift that was highly appreciated by the Senator.
The Senator on his part said that he was equally glad to be back home. Surprised with this hilarious welcome, the senator had come to witness the defense of one of his students, but the University seized the opportunity to officially receive him. He advised that the University should have guided freedom, be united and live in cooperation in order to take the institution to the highest heights. He was going as an ambassador of BUST everywhere and would spare no effort to assist BUST and bring it to the highest heights where possible.
Senator Anja Simon hails from Manyu, started his career as a PT and experienced in the field of education. At the Senate House, he is the 1st Secretary of the National Defense and Security Committee.
