UDs football celebrates thier victory
The University of Dschang male football team saw its way into the 2nd round after beating the University of Bamenda by 2 goals to nothing. This remarkable performance was witnessed by key University officials, the energetic fans club and the teaming population who werethrilled to a classical and interestingshowdown between the Universities. The game saw the UDs boys swing into an aggressive and decisive play style which earned them two goals; one in the first half and one from penalty spot in the second half, all executed by no 17 jersey player KamgangNoumbissi M. This joy was expressed by all especially the coach of the male football team who affirmed the wonderful performance of the players.

“My impressions are very positive after the game.The boys followed all the technical instructions given to them by the coach.The match was highly contested because we had to come out first from the group.It was imminent because the University of Bamenda had 7points while UDs had 5 points. That was why we needed to win the match.Being first in the group means we will be locking horns with the University of Maroua that came second in their group.The match was played with much determination and vigour. The victory was a result of boosted moral, aggressive and attacking spirit exhibited by the players. With the UDs going into the knock out stage all hope of football victory reposes in the male football team tomorrow since the female football team was eliminated this morning by the University of Douala by 5 goals to nil.The University of Dschang narrowly lost to the University of Yaounde 1 female handball by 26 to 25.UDs male handball lost to the University of Bamenda by 27 to 32.
