Youth Entrepreneuship Innovation Challenge
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
Identify, nurture and support financially innovative business ideas of youths.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education (MINJEC) launches “The Youth Entrepreneurship Innovation Challenge”. This contest aims to Identify, nurture and support financially innovative business ideas which can contribute effectively to uplifting the country current development challenges. Young Cameroonians of both sexes are called upon to propose innovative and sustainable project ideas, capable of generating sustainable employment and boost economic growth. The 30 outstanding projects will receive financial support to start-up or scale –up their business; a technical & professional coaching and a wide media presence, coverage and visibility. This challenge is an authentic talent and creativity detection platform at the disposal of young Cameroonians of all backgrounds. .
06 Eligibility Criterias for the Challenge
Nationality
Only Cameroonian nationalities can apply, leaving in or out of the national territory.
Age
Young women and young men aged between 15 and 35 years.
Maturity of the idea
The project can be the idea stage or at the experimental stage (less than two years of existence).
Implementation area
All the projects must be implemented in Cameroon
Feasibility
The project shall propose a revolutionary or incremental idea.
Faisabilité
The project should be feasible and bankable.
We are seeking the following project types:
Bankable
The Business idea with strong capacities to generate profit.
Innovative
Genius ideas, innovative and creatives ideas.
Great Impact
Projects that resolve tangible issues in communities and that generate sustainable employment.
