Within the framework of the “Pan-African e-network Project” on National and Sub-regional Virtual Universities of Cameroon, resulting from cooperation between the Government of India, CamerOOn and the African Union,
The University of Yaoundé I in collaboration with the University of Madras in India hereby invites candidates to apply for a Masters Course in Information Technologies.
Courses shall be entirely in English and by Videoconferencing from the University of Madras, with online and physical tutorials, and shall last for two years, which are divided into four semesters. The courses shall include studies on the architecture of the computer, data banks, networks, multimedia systems, Windows programming, various java and network programming as well as the internet and its applications.
The course is opened to all citizens of Cameroon and all other Central African Sub-regional Countries, who are holders of Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer studies, mathematics, physics, electrical— automatic-electronics, computer science and aged between 21 and 50 years.
Courses shall commence in late June 2014 at the National and Sub-regional Virtual Universities. Application files shall be received up to May 30, 2014 at 4.00 pm at the Sub—regional Virtual University Learning Centre situated at the New Pedagogic Bloc of the University of Yaounde I.
This training is subsidized by the Indian Government, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the University of Yaoundé |. 200 places are available. Candidates shall be selected based on the study of their academic files, and results published by mid-June 2014.
