The Minister of Higher Education announces to prospective and interested candidates at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, that the Islamic Institute of Technology (lIT) Dhaka, Bangladesh, the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is offering a number of scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year which commences from 6th January 2014.
The offers are in the following fields:

b) Master of Science or Postgraduate Diploma in :
i) Mechanical Engineering

iii) Computer Science and Application
iv) Computer Science and Engineering
c) Master of Engineering in :
i) Mechanical Engineering
ii) Electrical and Electronic Engineering
iii) Computer Science and Engineering
II - Technical Education Programmes:
a) Master of Science in Technical Education
b) Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education
c) Bachelor of Science in Technical Education
d) Diploma in Technical Education
III - Bachelor of Science in :
i) Mechanical Engineering
ii) Electrical and Electronic Engineering
iii) Civil Engineering
iv) Computer Science and Engineering
IV - Higher Diploma in :
i) Mechanical Engineering
ii) Electrical and Electronic Engineering
iii) Computer Science and Engineering
To be eligible you must be
- Of Cameroonian Nationality ;
- Physically and mentally fit to pursue studies abroad ;
- Must be English speaking or if English is not your language of instruction, show proof of proficiency in the English Language by passing the TOEFL or IELTS Tests.
The application file is comprised of the following :
- Stamped hand written application addressed to the Minister of Higher Education
- 3 passport size photographs ;
- A certified copy of birth certificate;
- A certificate of nationality;
- A certificate of good morals;
- Ali academic qualifications (O'level, "A" level or BEPC, Probatoire and Baccalaureat and Bachelors degree) ;
- High School or University transcripts for undergraduate and postgraduate
- studies respectively ;
- Certificate of fitness including chest X-ray and routine examination of blood, urine, stool and contagious and communicable diseases such as tuberculosis, AIDS, HIV, Hepititis B, Venereal Diseasesetc.
The application forms can be collected from room 1514 of the Ministry of Higher Education. Ali completed application forms should be deposited in the same office latest 19th August 2013.
