UDS AT THE 18TH EDITION OF UNIVERSITY GAMES
As the 2015 University games kick off at the University of Yaoundé 1, The University of Dschang's contingent have been engaged in various sporting disciplines. The Prowess of the male basketball team that clinched a gold medal at the last University games held in Douala trashed their opponents INJS to a weeping result of 80 to 54. The boys of the University of Dschang once again proved to be ready for the competition as they record a win on the first game. Unfortunately, this is not the case for their female counterparts that lost 76 to 29 to the University of Yaoundé 1. The double female category of lawn tennis and double mix also recorded a victory against IUC and Yaoundé II respectively .The University of Dschang recorded defeats nonetheless in African female and male fight and female football match to the University of Yaoundé 1 again by 3 goals to nil. The male football team locked horns with the institute of Siantou which ended on a virgin tie. It also recorded a loss in the double male category for lawn tennis.
